Ralph Lauren Lifshitz (Ralph Lauren Lifshitz) is a fashion designer and fashion brand from New York, USA, and is a central brand of American Trad and Ivy fashion, which arranges British traditional fashion into American style.

Born in New York in 1939, his father was a Jewish immigrant painter. He has never received a professional training in clothing design and is self-taught, and he has set out an upper-class lifestyle, but Ralph Lauren himself is not from the upper class. After dropping out of the City University of New York, he became a necktie salesman, selling neckties to the long-established men's clothing brand Brooks Brothers, which prompted him to enter the fashion business. In 1967, the brand "POLO", a 4-inch wide tie made of luxurious materials, was announced and became a hot topic. Released menswear in 1968. Launched womenswear in 1971.
Ralph Lauren is especially known for its menswear such as luxury suits and polo shirts, and is considered to be a representative of American traditional (ametra) along with Brooks Brothers.
