Salvatore Ferragamo is an Italian fashion designer. He studied anatomy at the University of Southern California in the United States, learned how to make shoes that do not hurt his feet, and has acquired numerous patents on shoe production methods.
In 1927, he returned to Italy and opened Salvatore Ferragamo in Florence.
After his death, the brand, Ferragamo, was inherited, and in 1967, women's and men's ready-to-wear was launched. Today, it has become a global total fashion brand, including bags, wallets and perfumes.
